On April 25, 2022, the Knox County, TN Board of Commissioners adopted “Approve closure of former Watt Road on second reading.” by a vote of 11–0.

Unanimous Adopted 11-0-0-0

Motion to approve on second reading the closure of a portion of the former Watt Road which was relocated as part of Watt Road interchange with I-40 in 1985 on second reading.
