Approve closure of Dempster Lane

Consideration of the closure of Dempster Lane off Tipton Station in Commission District 9. Dempster Lane was identified in an audit of our road list and is a gravel road that the County has not maintained in over 25 years and currently only serves one parcel on second reading

On October 24, 2022, the Knox County, TN Board of Commissioners adopted “Approve closure of Dempster Lane” by a vote of 11–0.

Unanimous Adopted 11-0-0-0

Motion to approve the closure of Dempster Lane off Tipton Station in Commission District 9. Dempster Lane was identified in an audit of our road list and is a gravel road that the County has not maintained in over 25 years and currently only serves one parcel on second reading.
