Defer Resolutions R-22-11-606 and R-22-11-905 to December 2022
AMENDMENTS TO THE AGENDA: 4. Commissioner Beeler moved to amend the agenda to defer the following items to the December 2022 meeting: Item #43 – Resolution R-22-11-606 - Consideration of a Resolution of the Commission of Knox County, Tennessee, approving the Tenth Amendment to Contract Number 12-500 with Rural Metro of Tennessee, L.P. to provide medical ambulance services in Knox County, which amendment extends the contract to January 31, 2024 and adds a response time exemption to begin June 1, 2022; and Item #45 - Resolution R-22-11-905 - Consideration of a Resolution of the Commission of Knox County, Tennessee, expressing support for expanding the membership of the Hallsdale-Powell Utility District Board of Commissioners from three (3) to seven (7) members. Commissioner Schoonmaker seconded the motion and upon roll call vote Commissioners Lundy, Durrett, Oster, Schoonmaker, Hill, Beeler, Dailey, Jay and Frazier voted aye. Commissioners Ward and Lee were absent from the meeting. The motion carried 9-0-0-2.
On November 21, 2022, the Knox County, TN Board of Commissioners adopted “Defer Resolutions R-22-11-606 and R-22-11-905 to December 2022” by a vote of 9–0.
