Approve amended ground lease with Concord Yacht Club, Inc.
Consideration of a Resolution of the Commission of Knox County, Tennessee, approving a Ground Lease with Concord Yacht Club, Inc. for recreational activities for a term of ten (10) years beginning July 1, 2023 and ending June 30, 2033 with the option to renew the lease for an additional period of ten (10) years with annual rent in the amount of $1,000.00 over the initial term of the lease with the following amendment: the term should be five (5) years beginning July 1, 2023 and ending June 30, 2028 with $5,000.00 per year; there should be no default or automatic renewal; quarterly reports are to be provided to the Knox County Parks and Recreation Department; consider establishing a higher rental rate for non-county residents; and have open discussions with Risk Management and their insurer about the possibility of opening the space to public access
