Amend agenda to hear items for Sheriff's Office Merit System Board and Ethics Committee appointment.
Consideration of amendments to the agenda to hear Item #46 – Resolution R-24-10-112 - Consideration of a Resolution of the Commission of Knox County, Tennessee, appointing an individual to the Knox County Sheriff's Office Employees' Merit System Board of Directors. (Term expires September 30, 2027); and Item # 47 – Resolution R-24-10-113 - Consideration of a Resolution of the Commission of Knox County, Tennessee, accepting the resignation of Michael Covington from the Knox County Ethics Committee and approving the appointment of an individual to complete the unfulfilled term of Mr. Covington on the Ethics Committee, which term expires on October 31, 2025 to be heard after the reading of Honorary Resolutions.
On October 28, 2024, the Knox County, TN Board of Commissioners adopted “Amend agenda to hear items for Sheriff's Office Merit System Board and Ethics Committee appointment.” by a vote of 11–0.
