Approve grant funding applications for railroad, track, and crosstie replacements.
Consideration of a Resolution of the Commission of Knox County, Tennessee, approving the applications for grant funding among the State of Tennessee Department of Transportation, the Knox County Railroad Authority, and the Knoxville & Holston River Railroad Co., Inc., for the provision of railroad, track, and crosstie replacements and, if said applications are approved, authorizing the execution of grant contracts for the acceptance of the grant awards in the total amount up to $972,382.32 with a local match up to $108,042.48 to be paid by Knoxville & Holston River Railroad Co., Inc.
