Amend agenda to defer 5 specific items to January 2025 meeting
Commissioner Jay moved to amend the agenda to defer the following items to the January 2025 meeting: Item #28 –Presentation by Legal Aid on Eviction Prevention; Item #34 - Resolution R-24-12-402 - Consideration of a Resolution of the Commission of Knox County, Tennessee, approving a Memorandum of Understanding with D.R. Horton, Inc. for road improvements at two intersections, Tipton Station Road at Martin Mill Pike (West) and Maryville Pike at Tipton Station Road; Item #35 - Resolution R-24-12-405 - Consideration of a Resolution of the Commission of Knox County, Tennessee, approving a contract with KCI Environmental Technologies & Construction, Inc. for design build services in the amount of $683,500.00 for the Coward Mill Dam Removal Project; Item #36 - Resolution R-24-12-406 - Consideration of a Resolution of the Commission of Knox County, Tennessee, approving a Memorandum of Understanding with S&E Properties, LLC. for road improvements at the intersection of Kingston Pike and Ebenezer Road; and Item #43 - Resolution R-24-12-902 Consideration of a Resolution of the Commission of Knox County, Tennessee, approving a Residential Infrastructure Development Act (RIDA) Policy. Commissioner Durrett seconded the motion and upon roll call vote Commissioners Rawls, Durrett, Oster, Jackson, Russell, Hill, Lee, Thompson, Fox, Jay, and Frazier voted aye. The motion carried 11-0-0-0.
On December 16, 2024, the Knox County, TN Board of Commissioners adopted “Amend agenda to defer 5 specific items to January 2025 meeting” by a vote of 11–0.
