CONSIDERATION OF A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMISSION OF KNOX COUNTY, TENNESSEE, REQUESTING THE 114TH SESSION OF THE TENNESSEE GENERAL ASSEMBLY TO ALLOW COUNTY TRUSTEES TO COLLECT AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY ON UNPAID AND DELINQUENT PROPERTY TAXES TO BE ALLOCATED FOR TAX RELIEF FOR ELDERLY LOW INCOME, DISABLED, DISABLED VETERAN AND VETERAN WIDOW/WIDOWER HOMEOWNERS.
