Add five resolutions for senior center grant contracts to the agenda.
Amendments to the Agenda to add the following items to the agenda: Item #22 – Resolution R-25-10-903 - Consideration of a Resolution of the Commission of Knox County, Tennessee, approving a grant contract with the State of Tennessee, Department of Disability and Aging in the amount not to exceed $25,000.00 for equipment and supplies for the Corryton Senior Center. (No local match required); Item #23 – Resolution R-25-10-904 - Consideration of a Resolution of the Commission of Knox County, Tennessee, approving a grant contract with the State of Tennessee, Department of Disability and Aging in the amount not to exceed $50,000.00 for equipment and supplies for the Karns Senior Center. (No local match required); Item #24 – Resolution R-25-10-905 - Consideration of a Resolution of the Commission of Knox County, Tennessee, approving a grant contract with the State of Tennessee, Department of Disability and Aging in the amount not to exceed $10,000.00 for equipment and supplies for the West Knox Senior Center. (No local match required); Item #25 – Resolution R-25-10-906 - Consideration of a Resolution of the Commission of Knox County, Tennessee, approving a grant contract with the State of Tennessee, Department of Disability and Aging in the amount not to exceed $22,000.00 for equipment and supplies for the Halls Senior Center. (No local match required); and Item #26 – Resolution R-25-10-907 - Consideration of a Resolution of the Commission of Knox County, Tennessee, approving a grant contract with the State of Tennessee, Department of Disability and Aging in the amount not to exceed $17,000.00 for equipment and supplies for the South Knoxville Senior Center. (No local match required).
On October 27, 2025, the Knox County, TN Board of Commissioners adopted “Add five resolutions for senior center grant contracts to the agenda.” by a vote of 11–0.
