Accepting through Spread of Record the letter of retirement of the Honorable Andrew Jackson, VI, Judge of the Knox County General Sessions Court, Division IV, effective December 31, 2025
On November 17, 2025, the Knox County, TN Board of Commissioners adopted “Add retirement letter of Judge Andrew Jackson, VI to spread of record.” by a vote of 11–0.
Motion to amend the agenda to add the following items: Item #38 - Accepting through Spread of Record the letter of retirement of the Honorable Andrew Jackson, VI, Judge of the Knox County General Sessions Court, Division IV, effective December 31, 2025; Item #44 - Resolution R-25-11-907 - Consideration of a Resolution of the Commission of Knox County, Tennessee, approving a Fiscal Year 2026 Budget Amendment to increase the total budget in the amount of $1,500,000.00 for the purpose of providing a one-time pay adjustment for employees in the amount of $500.00; and Item #49 - Motion and vote of the Commission to mandate that the Chair call a Special Session of the Commission on December 8, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. in the Main Assembly Room for the purpose of filling the vacancy in the office of Judge of the Knox County General Sessions Court, Division IV.
