On November 17, 2025, the Knox County, TN Board of Commissioners adopted “Mandate Special Session on December 8, 2025 to fill Judge vacancy.” by a vote of 11–0.
Motion to approve a Special Session meeting of the Commission on December 8, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. in the Main Assembly Room for the purpose of filling the vacancy in the office of Judge of the Knox County General Sessions Court, Division IV.
