Defer Ordinance O-25-12-103 to January 2026 meeting
AMENDMENTS TO THE AGENDA: Commissioner Thompson moved to amend the agenda to defer the following item to the January 2026 meeting: Item #33 – Ordinance O-25-12-103 - Consideration of an Ordinance of the Commission of Knox County, Tennessee, creating Art. III of Chapter 26 of the Knox County Code, entitled "Data Centers," to define, add specific requirements, and provide limitations for Data Centers and Data Center Accessory Uses (First Reading). Commissioner Rawls seconded the motion and upon roll call vote Commissioners Rawls, Durrett, Oster, Jackson, Russell, Hill, Lee, Thompson, Fox, Jay, and Frazier voted aye. The motion carried 11-0-0-0.
On December 15, 2025, the Knox County, TN Board of Commissioners adopted “Defer Ordinance O-25-12-103 to January 2026 meeting” by a vote of 11–0.
