Amend agenda: Defer 3 Presentations and R-26-1-903 to Feb 2026
Amend the agenda to defer the following items to the February 2026 meeting: Item #24 - Presentation: A Christian’s Biblical View of Illegal Immigration; Item #25 - Presentation: Bridge to Safety by Mike Hammond, Criminal Court Clerk; Item #26 - Presentation: Rural Metro by Jeff Bagwell; and Item #40 - Resolution R-26-1-903 - Consideration of a Resolution of the Commission of Knox County, Tennessee, encouraging the Knox County Sheriff’s Office to undertake a Memorandum of Understanding for the 287(G) Task Force Model.
On January 29, 2026, the Knox County, TN Board of Commissioners adopted “Amend agenda: Defer 3 Presentations and R-26-1-903 to Feb 2026” by a vote of 11–0.
