Request of E. Luke Greene for Northeast County Sector Plan Amendment from LI (Light Industrial) to AG (Agricultural) 10-B-20-SP was before the Board of Commissioners. Property located at 1308 Saylors Ford Road / Parcel ID 42 19575, Commission District 8. Ms. Amy Brooks, Knoxville-Knox County Planning, was present electronically via Zoom streaming and spoke on the matter. Ms. Josphine Greene, applicant, was present electronically via Zoom streaming and spoke on the matter. Commissioner Jay asked if there was any opposition to the request. There was no response. Commissioner Beeler moved to approve 10-B-20-SP - Request of E. Luke Greene for Northeast County Sector Plan Amendment from LI (Light Industrial) to AG (Agricultural) as per Planning Commission’s Recommendation Approve the AG (Agricultural) designation since it is consistent with surrounding development and is more aligned with the trend in development in this area than the existing industrial land use. Property located at 1308 Saylors Ford Road / Parcel ID 42 19575, Commission District 8. Commissioner Busler seconded the motion and upon roll call vote Commissioners Lundy, Durrett, Smith, Ward, Schoonmaker, Hill, Busler, Beeler, Dailey, Jay, and Biggs voted aye. The motion carried 11-0-0-0.
