Approve rezoning from A/RA to PR for Urban Engineering
Request of Urban Engineering, Inc. for rezoning from A (Agricultural) / RA (Low Density Residential) to PR (Planned Residential) up to 3.15 dwelling units per acre 11-C-20-RZ was before the Board of Commissioners. Property located at 1737 N. Campbell Station Road & 0 Long Farm Way / Parcel ID 117 01203 & 130AA00214, Commission District 6. Ms. Amy Brooks, Knoxville-Knox County Planning, was present electronically via Zoom streaming and spoke on the matter. Mr. Taylor Forrester, representing Urban Engineering, was present electronically via Zoom streaming and spoke on the matter. Commissioner Jay asked if there was any opposition to the request. Ms. Jennifer Stenstrom, concerned resident, was present electronically via Zoom streaming and spoke in opposition to the request. Commissioner Hill moved to approve 11-C-20-RZ - Request of Urban Engineering, Inc. for rezoning from A (Agricultural) / RA (Low Density Residential) to PR (Planned Residential) at 1.93 dwelling units per acre as per Planning Commission Recommendation: APPROVE PR (Planned Residential) zoning up to 1.93 dwelling units per acre because it is consistent with the slope analysis and compatible with the surrounding zoning. Property located at 1737 N. Campbell Station Road & 0 Long Farm Way / Parcel ID 117 01203 & 130AA00214, Commission District 6. Commissioner Biggs seconded the motion and upon roll call vote Commissioners Lundy, Durrett, Smith, Ward, Schoonmaker, Hill, Busler, Beeler, Dailey, Jay, and Biggs voted aye. The motion carried 11-0-0-0.
