Approve contracts for high-speed printers

Consideration of a Resolution of the Commission of Knox County, Tennessee, approving contracts with Epson America, Inc., Novatech, Inc., and Riso, Inc. for the provision of high-speed printers for the term of January 1, 2021 through June 30, 2021 which may be extended for an additional five (5) years, one (1) year at a time, for a total of five (5) years and six (6) months at an estimated cost of $1,226,658.00 annually was before the Board of Commissioners. Commissioner Durrett moved to approve R-20-12-209 – Consideration of a Resolution of the Commission of Knox County, Tennessee, approving contracts with Epson America, Inc., Novatech, Inc., and Riso, Inc. for the provision of high- speed printers for the term of January 1, 2021 through June 30, 2021 which may be extended for an additional five (5) years, one (1) year at a time, for a total of five (5) years and six (6) months at an estimated cost of $1,226,658.00 annually. Commissioner Dailey seconded the motion and upon roll call vote Commissioners Lundy, Durrett, Smith, Ward, Schoonmaker, Hill, Busler, Beeler, Dailey and Jay voted aye. The motion carried 10-0-0-1. Commissioner Biggs was absent from the vote.
