Add redistricting committee, collection services, welcome Danny White, video courtroom

AMENDMENTS TO THE AGENDA: 2. Commissioner Smith moved to amend the agenda to add the following items: Resolution R-21-1-115 - Consideration of a Resolution of the Commission of Knox County, Tennessee, creating the 2021 Knox County Redistricting Committee to assist in the County Commission and Board of Education redistricting process with such committee members to include the eleven (11) members of the Knox County Commission, the Chair of the Knox County Board of Education or her designee, and the Knox County Administrator of Elections; Resolution R-21-1-906 - Consideration of a Resolution of the Commission of Knox County, Tennessee, approving a contract with Perdue Brandon Fielder Collins and Mott, LLP for collection services; Resolution R-21-1-102 - Consideration of a Resolution of the Commission of Knox County, Tennessee, welcoming Danny White as the Athletic Director of the University of Tennessee; and Resolution R-21-1-303 - Consideration of a Resolution of the Commission of Knox County, Tennessee, approving construction of a video courtroom facility at 5001 Maloneyville Road at a cost not to exceed $1.5 million (to be funded through an estimation and appropriation resolution). Commissioner Durrett seconded the motion and upon roll call vote Commissioners Busler, Beeler, Dailey, Jay, Biggs, Lundy, Durrett, Smith, Ward, Schoonmaker and Hill voted aye. The motion carried 11-0-0-0.
