On February 22, 2021, the Knox County, TN Board of Commissioners adopted “Approve Knox County Information Technology policies” by a vote of 11–0.

Motion to approve R-21-2-902 - Consideration of a Resolution of the Commission of Knox County, Tennessee, approving Knox County Information Technology policies to establish expectations and set forth acceptable and prohibited uses of information technology resources and systems in order to comply with federal and state laws and regulations pertaining to information security.
