Accept Comprehensive State Literacy Development Grant of $415,000.
Consideration of a Resolution of the Commission of Knox County, Tennessee, authorizing the acceptance of a Comprehensive State Literacy Development Grant from the U.S. Department of Education in the total amount of $415,000.00 ($83,000.00 per year for five (5) years) designated to participation in the Tennessee Department of Education’s Literacy Implementation Network as part of the State’s Reading 360 initiative.
