Amend Merit System regarding filling of vacancies (first reading).
Consideration of an Ordinance of the Commission of Knox County, Tennessee, amending Knox County Code, Chapter 42, Article II, Division 2 entitled “Employees’ Merit System” to provide for amendments to Section 42-59 entitled “Filling of Vacancies” (amending Ordinance O-90-9-111, adopted September 10, 1990; and Ordinance O-20-7-102, adopted September 28, 2020).
On July 26, 2021, the Knox County, TN Board of Commissioners adopted “Amend Merit System regarding filling of vacancies (first reading).” by a vote of 6–3.
Motion to approve the Ordinance amending Knox County Code, Chapter 42 regarding filling of vacancies on first reading.
