Approve 20 agreements and 1 amendment using SLFRF for COVID-19 impacts.
Consideration of a Resolution of the Commission of Knox County, Tennessee, approving twenty (20) Agreements in Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds (SLFRF) with the following service providers for various activities that mitigate the negative health and economic impacts of COVID-19: Boys & Girls Club ($325,000); Bridge Refugee Services ($100,000); Canvas Can Do Miracles ($50,000); Centro Hispano ($100,000); Cokesbury United Methodist Church ($250,000); C.O.N.N.E.C.T. Ministries ($100,000); East TN Community Design Center ($15,000); East TN Economic Development Agency ($100,000) ; E.M. Jellinek Center ($100,000); Freedom Village of Hope ($50,000); Free Medical Clinic ($100,000); Knoxville-Knox County Community Action Committee ($550,000); McNabb Center ($200,000); Second Harvest Food Bank ($100,000); Shangri-La Therapeutic Academy of Riding ($75,000); Susannah’s House ($50,000); United Way ($150,000); Young Williams ($170,000); YWCA ($50,000); and an Agreement amendment with Zoo Knoxville ($4,000,000).
