On June 15, 2026, the Knox County, TN Board of Commissioners adopted “Approve Anderson Baker rezoning from Low Density Residential to Light Industrial” by a vote of 10–0.

Motion to approve Resolution RZ-26-6-105 - Resolution of the Commission of Knox County, Tennessee, approving the request of Anderson Baker for a rezoning from Low Density Residential to Light Industrial as per Planning Commission’s recommendation which included the following conditions: 1) Providing a Type A landscape screen along the eastern boundary. The existing healthy trees along the boundary must be maintained and may count toward the required landscape screening; and 2) Obtaining the necessary permit from the Knox County Codes Administration Enforcement Department for the excavation work.
