AMENDMENT TO THE AGENDA
On April 24, 2023, the Knox County, TN Board of Commissioners adopted “Amend agenda to add items, defer one, and withdraw three” by a vote of 10–0.
Move to amend the agenda to add the following items: Item #27 - Resolution R-23-4-905 - Consideration of a Resolution of the Commission of Knox County, Tennessee, encouraging Governor Bill Lee to adopt and fund in the state budget the following four (4) recommendations of Lt. Governor Randy McNally concerning school safety in Tennessee: securing windows and glass in school buildings, magnetic locks on doors, centralized and modernized camera systems, and armed guards; Item #28 - Resolution R-23-4-906 - Consideration of a Resolution of the Commission of Knox County, Tennessee, requesting the Knoxville-Knox Planning Commission to recommend amendments to Section 2.20 of the Knox County Zoning Ordinance regarding the definition of swimming pool; Item #43 - Resolution R-23-4-702 - Consideration of a Resolution of the Commission of Knox County, Tennessee, approving an Honorary Naming Rights Application to rename the Roy Arthur Storm Water Park Kayak Launch at 7221 Harrell Road; and Presentation by Knox County Trustee Justin Biggs regarding the property tax freeze for Knox County seniors.
