AMENDMENT TO THE AGENDA: 3. Commissioner Frazier moved to amend the agenda to withdraw the following items: Item #48 – Resolution R-23-5-101 - Consideration of a Resolution of the Commission of Knox County, Tennessee, recognizing May as Brain Tumor Awareness Month; Item #57 - Ordinance O-23-5-101 - Consideration of an Ordinance of the Commission of Knox County, Tennessee, amending the Knox County Code, Chapter 6, “Animals”, Article II, Division 1, Section 6-31, “Definitions”, and Section 6-44, “Animal Care and Manner of Keeping”, to update the minimum requirements for the care and keeping of animals (amending Ordinance O-96-5-101, adopted June 24, 1996; Ordinance O-07-12-102, adopted January 28, 2008; Ordinance O-15-4-101, adopted May 26, 2015; and Ordinance O-19-3-102, adopted April 22, 2019) (First Reading); Item #75 - Request of John Bolton for rezoning from A Agricultural to PR Planned Residential up to 2 dwelling units per acre, Property located at 0, 6702 and 6706 Ridgeview Road, Parcel ID 030 15201, 15307 and 15308, (8th Commission District) (Planning Commission’s file number: 12-A-22-RZ); and Item #76 - Request of Benjamin C. Mullins for rezoning from CB Business and Manufacturing to T Transition, Property located at 1461, 1481, and 1501 Maryville Pike, Parcel ID 122 L A 001, 003, and 002, (9th Commission District) (Planning Commission’s file number: 12-E-22-RZ) (withdrawn at the applicant’s request). Commissioner Hill seconded the motion and upon roll call vote Commissioners Lundy, Durrett, Oster, Ward, Schoonmaker, Hill, Lee, Dailey, Jay and Frazier voted aye. Commissioner Beeler was absent from the vote. The motion carried 10-0-0-1.
On May 22, 2023, the Knox County, TN Board of Commissioners adopted “Amend agenda to withdraw 4 items.” by a vote of 10–0.
