On July 27, 2026, the Knox County, TN Board of Commissioners adopted “Amendments to the agenda” by a vote of 7–4.
Motion to amend the agenda to defer the following items to the August 2026 meeting: Item #35 - Presentation from Second Harvest Food Bank; Item #43 - Resolution R-26-7-110 - Consideration of a Resolution of the Commission of Knox County, Tennessee, appointing/reappointing an individual to the Knox County Board of Construction Appeals (term expires December 31, 2032); Item #47 - Resolution R-26-7-806 - Consideration of a Resolution of the Commission of Knox County, Tennessee, regarding the issuance of not to exceed Two Hundred Seventy-Five Million Dollars ($275,000,000) General Obligation Bonds of Knox County, Tennessee; Item #48 - Resolution R-26-7-807 - Consideration of a Resolution of the Commission of Knox County, Tennessee, authorizing the issuance of General Obligation Bonds of Knox County, Tennessee, in the aggregate principal amount of not to exceed $275,000,000, in one or more series; making provision for the issuance, sale and payment of said bonds, establishing the terms thereof and the disposition of proceeds therefrom; and providing for the levy of taxes for the payment of principal of, premium, if any, and interest on the bonds; Item #49 - Resolution R-26-7-808 - Consideration of a Resolution of the Commission of Knox County, Tennessee, approving a transfer of approximately 3.1 acres located at 11020 Solway School Road, Knoxville, TN 37931, and known as the Fairview Technology Center, to the Industrial Development Board of the County of Knox; and Item #52 - Resolution R-26-7-904 - Consideration of a Resolution of the Commission of Knox County, Tennessee, establishing a Pedestrian Beverage Zone Pilot Program and designating Belltown Commons as the initial Pedestrian Beverage Zone.
