CONSIDERATION OF THE CLOSURE OF A PORTION OF OLD DANDRIDGE STAGECOACH LN. LOCATED IN DISTRICT 8. THE PROPOSED NEW TERMINUS WILL BE APPROXIMATELY 25 FEET NORTHEAST OF THE SOUTHERNMOST INTERSECTING CORNER BETWEEN PROPERTY NOW BELONGING TO PIERCE (PARCEL ID 097-168) AND PROPERTY NOW BELONGING TO NICHOLS (PARCEL ID 084-224). (SECOND READING): Consideration of the closure of a portion of Old Dandridge Stagecoach Ln. located in District 8. The proposed new terminus will be approximately 25 feet northeast of the southernmost intersecting corner between property now belonging to Pierce (parcel ID 097-168) and property now belonging to Nichols (parcel ID 084-224) was before the Board of Commissioners on Second Reading. Commissioner Beeler moved to approve the closure of a portion of Old Dandridge Stagecoach Ln. located in District 8. The proposed new terminus will be approximately 25 feet northeast of the southernmost intersecting corner between property now belonging to Pierce (parcel ID 097-168) and property now belonging to Nichols (parcel ID 084-224) on Second Reading. Commissioner Frazier seconded the motion and upon roll call vote Commissioners Lundy, Durrett, Oster, Ward, Schoonmaker, Hill, Lee, Beeler, Dailey, Jay, and Frazier voted aye. The motion carried 11-0-0-0.
On December 18, 2023, the Knox County, TN Board of Commissioners adopted “Approve closure of a portion of Old Dandridge Stagecoach Ln.” by a vote of 11–0.
