Amend agenda to add resolutions for parks donations, sheriff & library facilities maintenance, and honoring Grace Christian Academy.
Motion to amend the agenda to add the following items: Item #27 – Resolution R-26-8-701 - Consideration of a Resolution of the Commission of Knox County, Tennessee, authorizing the acceptance of donations for Knox County Parks and Recreation as shown on the attached list and in the total amount of $70,463.00; Item #30 – Resolution R-26-8-805 - Consideration of a Resolution of the Commission of Knox County, Tennessee, approving a Service Agreement with Trane for preventative maintenance and repair services for Sheriff’s facilities; Item #31 – Resolution R-26-8-806 - Consideration of a Resolution of the Commission of Knox County, Tennessee, approving a Service Agreement with Trane for preventative maintenance and repair services for Library facilities; and Item #37 – Resolution R-26-8-101 - Consideration of a Resolution of the Commission of Knox County, Tennessee, honoring Grace Christian Academy for its TSSAA State Championship win in High School Boys Soccer.
On August 31, 2026, the Knox County, TN Board of Commissioners adopted “Amend agenda to add resolutions for parks donations, sheriff & library facilities maintenance, and honoring Grace Christian Academy.” by a vote of 11–0.
