Motion to amend the agenda to withdraw the following item from the agenda: Item #56 – Ordinance O-26-8-103 - Consideration of an Ordinance of the Commission of Knox County, Tennessee, creating the Knox County Code, Chapter 50, Article I, Section 50-4, prohibiting an amplified Islamic Call to Worship.
On August 31, 2026, the Knox County, TN Board of Commissioners adopted “Amend agenda to withdraw ordinance prohibiting amplified Islamic call to worship.” by a vote of 11–0.
