Amend agenda to add grant contract and planning commission nominations.
AMENDMENTS TO THE AGENDA: 1. Commissioner Dailey moved to amend the agenda to add the following items: Item #30 - Resolution R-24-5-501 - Consideration of a Resolution of the Commission of Knox County, Tennessee, approving a grant contract with the Tennessee Emergency Management Agency (TEMA) for Department of Energy (DOE) pass-through funding in the amount of $21,000.00 to provide equipment for the Knoxville-Knox County Emergency Management Agency for off-site emergency planning and response (no local match required); and Item #48 – Resolution R-24-5-114 - Consideration of a Resolution of the Commission of Knox County, Tennessee, confirming the Knox County Mayor’s nominations of Louis A. Browning, III for reappointment and Kara Daley and Matt Anderson for appointment to the Knoxville-Knox County Planning Commission (terms expire June 30, 2028). Commissioner Jay seconded the motion and upon roll call vote Commissioners Lundy, Durrett, Oster, Ward, Schoonmaker, Hill, Lee, Beeler, Dailey, Jay and Frazier voted aye. The motion carried 11-0-0-0.
On May 20, 2024, the Knox County, TN Board of Commissioners adopted “Amend agenda to add grant contract and planning commission nominations.” by a vote of 11–0.
Move to amend the agenda to add Item #30 (R-24-5-501) and Item #48 (R-24-5-114).
