Ordinance adding Public Notices section to county code (Second Reading).
Consideration of an Ordinance of the Commission of Knox County, Tennessee, amending Knox County Code, Chapter 2, Article I entitled "In General" to add a new Section 2-7 entitled "Public Notices" to provide for all public notices of the Legislative and Executive Branches of Knox County Government to be posted on a public notice website that is established and maintained by the Knox County Department of Information Technology and to require a public notice that is required by law to be published in a newspaper of general circulation to be published in a non-subscription-based newspaper of general circulation. (Knox County Code, Chapter 2, Article I, establishing Section 2-7, previously reserved) on second reading.
