CONSIDERATION OF THE CLOSURE OF DEMPSTER LANE OFF TIPTON STATION IN COMMISSION DISTRICT 9. DEMPSTER LANE WAS IDENTIFIED IN AN AUDIT OF OUR ROAD LIST AND IS A GRAVEL ROAD THAT THE COUNTY HAS NOT MAINTAINED IN OVER 25 YEARS AND CURRENTLY ONLY SERVES ONE PARCEL - (FIRST READING):
On September 26, 2022, the Knox County, TN Board of Commissioners adopted “Approve first reading for closure of Dempster Lane.” by a vote of 10–0.
Approve the closure of Dempster Lane off Tipton Station in Commission District 9 on first reading.
