Amend agenda to defer road resurfacing and utility district water line construction.
Motion to amend the agenda to defer the following items to the August 2024 meeting: Item #32 - Resolution R-24-7-404 - Consideration of a Resolution of the Commission of Knox County, Tennessee, approving a State Aid contract with the Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) for the resurfacing of North Cedar Bluff Road from Sherrill Boulevard to Middlebrook Pike for an estimated project cost of $______ with $______ (98%) being provided by TDOT and $______ (2%) being provided by Knox County; and Item #35 - Resolution - R-24-7-904 - Consideration of a Resolution of the Commission of Knox County, Tennessee, approving an Assignment and Assumption Agreement among I-40/75 Business Park, LLC (Assignor), Knox County, Tennessee (Assignee), and the West Knox Utility District (WKUD) regarding Knox County’s assuming the responsibility to construct a new water line as more specifically referenced in the December 1, 2022 agreement between WKUD and I-40/75 Business Park, LLC, as revised.
On July 22, 2024, the Knox County, TN Board of Commissioners adopted “Amend agenda to defer road resurfacing and utility district water line construction.” by a vote of 10–0.
