Knox County, TN Board of Commissioners — meetings & how to be heard
- When & where it meets
- The Commission generally holds its regular voting meeting once a month at the City County Building, 400 Main Street, Knoxville, usually preceded by a work session earlier in the month. The official calendar lists the exact date, time, and location.
- How to speak
- The Commission sets aside time for public comment at its meetings. Residents who wish to speak are generally asked to sign up in advance with the County Clerk's office, and a per-speaker time limit may apply. The official meeting notice states the current procedure.
- Comments & deadlines
- Any deadline to sign up to speak, or to submit a written comment for the record, is set for each meeting; the County Clerk's office can confirm the current deadline and format.
