Apply for and accept School Violence Prevention Program Grant.

i. A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute any and all documents necessary to apply for and accept a two-year School Violence Prevention Program Grant award from the U.S. Department of Justice Office of Community Oriented Policing Services in the amount of $337,500.00, with a required local match to be provided by Knox County Schools in the amount of $112,500.00, for a total grant amount of $450,000.00 to expand and improve security at schools.
