Resolution authorizing Mayor to apply for and accept FTA grant for COVID-19 related transit expenses
A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute any and all documents necessary to apply for and, if awarded, accept a grant from the Federal Transit Administration for Formula Urbanized Area Transit Grant Assistance in the amount of $13,264,902.00 with no local matching funds required pursuant to the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act to be used for operating expenses of the transit system and to replace lost revenues due to the COVID-19 pandemic.(Requested by Knoxville Area Transit)
