An Ordinance to amend the International Residential Building Code, as adopted in the Knoxville City Code at Chapter 6, Article II.A, Section 6-42, to increase the minimum allowable size of residential sewer laterals from three inches to four inches.(Requested by Department of Plans Review and Building Inspections)

On January 26, 2021, the City of Knoxville, TN City Council adopted “Amend building code to increase minimum sewer lateral size to four inches” by a vote of 9–0.
