Request Planning Commission to recommend new zoning for temporary encampments

A Resolution respectfully requesting the Knoxville-Knox County Planning Commission to consider and make a recommendation to City Council regarding the creation of a new zoning district or a new overlay district to establish regulations for temporary encampments to be used as part of a continuum of shelter and housing.(Requested by Councilmember Parker)

On February 23, 2021, “Request Planning Commission to recommend new zoning for temporary encampments” failed before the City of Knoxville, TN City Council.
