Authorize grant application for Knoxville Area Transit
A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute any and all documents necessary to apply for and, if awarded, accept a grant from the Federal Transit Administration and the Tennessee Department of Transportation to provide funding in the total amount of $2,068,824.00 to Knoxville Area Transit pursuant to the Highway Infrastructure Program of the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act which requires a City match of $229,870.00.(Requested by Knoxville Area Transit)
On June 1, 2021, the City of Knoxville, TN City Council adopted “Authorize grant application for Knoxville Area Transit” by a vote of 8–0.
