Ordinance to create Common Area Permit and Subordinate Retailer's Permit

An Ordinance amending Chapter 4, Article II of the Knoxville City Code so as to create a Common Area Permit and a Subordinate Retailer's On-Premise Permit subject to a Common Area Permit and to allow possession and consumption of beer and alcoholic beverages on private property within the common area, upon approval of such permit by the Beer Board under such terms, conditions, rules and regulations as the Beer Board may establish.(Requested by Beer Board Chair Roberto)

On July 13, 2021, the City of Knoxville, TN City Council adopted “Ordinance to create Common Area Permit and Subordinate Retailer's Permit” by a vote of 9–0.
