Apply for and accept $200k grant for traffic safety equipment and enforcement

A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute any and all documents necessary to apply for and accept a grant from the State of Tennessee Highway Safety Office in the amount of $200,000.00, with no required local match, to purchase Radar/ LIDAR and other traffic safety related equipment and supplies and to provide for overtime costs to enforce impaired, distracted or aggressive driving, occupant protection and speeding, and to provide high visibility and traffic calming enforcement.(Requested by Knoxville Police Department)
