Ordinance to rename Department of Community Development to Housing and Neighborhood Development

An Ordinance to amend Chapters 2, 6 and 15 of the Knoxville City Code to change of the name of the Department of Community Development to the Department of Housing and Neighborhood Development and for related purposes.(Requested by Housing & Neighborhood Development)

On August 9, 2022, the City of Knoxville, TN City Council adopted “Ordinance to rename Department of Community Development to Housing and Neighborhood Development” by a vote of 9–0.
