Authorize Police/Fire Chiefs to award items to separating employees
An Ordinance to amend Chapter 2, Article VII, Division 2, Section 2-724 of the Knoxville City Code to authorize the Police and Fire Chiefs, in their discretion, to award certain items to public safety employees separating from employment with the City after ten years of service.(Requested by Knoxville Police Department)
On October 4, 2022, the City of Knoxville, TN City Council adopted “Authorize Police/Fire Chiefs to award items to separating employees” by a vote of 8–0.
