Amend City Code to designate Juneteenth as a municipal holiday

An Ordinance of the Council of the City of Knoxville to amend Chapter 2, Article III, Division 3, Section 2-477 of the Knoxville City Code to designate Juneteenth as a municipal holiday and for related purposes.(Requested by Department of Human Resources)

On October 18, 2022, the City of Knoxville, TN City Council adopted “Amend City Code to designate Juneteenth as a municipal holiday” by a vote of 9–0.
