Accept School Violence Prevention Grant for School Resource Officer training expenses

A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute any and all documents necessary to accept a School Violence Prevention Program Grant award from the U.S. Department of Justice, Office of Community Oriented Policing Services in an amount not to exceed $162,240.00, with a required 25% local match not to exceed $40,560.00, for a total grant amount of $202,800.00, to be used for travel and training expenses for School Resource Officers at Knox County schools.(Requested by Knoxville Police Department)
