Amend Zoning Code to refine build-to standards in General Commercial Districts
An Ordinance to amend the Knoxville City Code, Appendix B, Zoning Code, Article 5.3, Dimensional Standards, to add Section C.1-5, to refine the application of build-to percentages and build-to zones in the C-G General Commercial Zoning Districts (C-G-2 and C-G-3), Knoxville-Knox County Planning, Applicant. On November 1, 2022, the City of Knoxville, TN City Council deferred “Amend Zoning Code to refine build-to standards in General Commercial Districts” to a later meeting.
Motion to refer the ordinance to the Planning Commission for their review of additional options that may address issues presented by build-to zones in C-G-2 and C-G-3 and have a workshop with Planning Staff and others so that City Council may understand and provide guidance to Planning Commission when they review it again.
