Amend City Code Chapter 5 to establish additional minimum animal care requirements
An Ordinance to amend the Knoxville City Code, Chapter 5, to establish additional minimum requirements for the care and keeping of animals.(Requested by Councilmembers Rider, Singh, Thomas, Parker, and McKenzie)

approve modifying Council Member Parker's amendment "Subsection (c)(4) The tether is at least five (5) times the length of the animal’s body as measured from the tip of the nose to the base of the tail, or a minimum of ten (10) feet" to "The tether at least five (5) times the length of the animal’s body as measured from the tip of the nose to the base of the tail or a minimum of ten (10) feet, whichever is longer."
