A Resolution recognizing the need for additional trauma-informed services to address mental health, substance use, and homelessness in the City of Knoxville and to express the intent of council to create an Alternative Response Team task force to develop and propose a plan to pilot the strategic implementation of Alternative Response in the City of Knoxville.(Requested by Councilmember Parker)

On May 30, 2023, the City of Knoxville, TN City Council deferred “Resolution recognizing need for trauma-informed services and Alternative Response Team task force” to a later meeting.
