Resolution authorizing Mayor to apply for and accept a $65,000 YWCA grant for domestic violence firearms laws implementation.

A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute any and all documents necessary to apply for a grant award of $65,000.00, with no required local match, from the YWCA of Knoxville and the Tennessee Valley, as a sub-award of the U. S. Department of Justice, Office of Violence Against Women, Firearms Technical Assistance Project Pilot Sites Initiative, to support addressing the challenges with implementing domestic violence firearms laws, and if such application is approved, authorizing the Mayor to accept such a grant award.(Requested by Knoxville Police Department and Office of Community Safety)
