Authorize subrecipient agreement with Alcoa PD for training and canine
A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute a subrecipient agreement with the Alcoa Police Department to award an amount not to exceed $25,000.00, pursuant to a grant from the Tennessee Office of Criminal Justice Programs under the Violent Crime Intervention Fund Collaboration, to pay for forensic firearms training and to purchase a dual-purpose trained canine that will be used to detect and deter violent crime offenses.(Requested by Knoxville Police Department)
