An Ordinance to close Layden Drive between the southwest corner of 318 Layden Drive (now part of 5331 Lyons View Pike) and Layden Drive's eastern terminus, subject to one condition, and authorizing the Mayor to execute quitclaim deeds to the adjacent property owners, Cherokee Country Club, applicant. (Planning Commission approved 11-0 Consent) (File No. 12-A-23-SC) (Council District 2)(Requested by Knoxville-Knox County Planning)

On January 23, 2024, the City of Knoxville, TN City Council adopted “Ordinance to close Layden Drive and authorize quitclaim deeds to adjacent owners” by a vote of 8–0.
